Monday, Parshas Vayeira — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Shlomo Hirsch took place, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yoel Freund.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah. After davening, he delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 14, verse 2, after which a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to Heichal HaYeshiva, Beirach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva students in his private room, and at around 5:10 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 8:15 in his holy residence, and then walked over to the halls of Keren V'Yoel Moshe, where the sheva brachos was held, led by the Rebbe shlit"a, for the family members. Askanim of our holy kehilla, who devote themselves for the honor of our holy kehilla by arranging the gatherings and simchas in our holy courts, and especially during the past month of Tishrei, were invited. Upon arrival, the Rebbe broke out in dance in the middle of the floor for a few minutes, and then washed for the seudah.

R' Yechezkel Frankel spoke words of appreciation in honor of the simcha of the Rebbe's family, combined with expressions of gratitude to the askanim. He then also asked the Rebbe various guidance and rulings relevant to askanim, to which the Rebbe shlit"a replied and spoke at length with wisdom and good judgment.

Afterwards, a humorous panel took place with R' Hershel Friedman, together with R' Yitzchak Greenfeld and R' Chaim Hersh Glanzer.
On behalf of the kehilla, R' Dovid Eckstein of Eretz Yisroel then spoke.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words and spoke about the importance of askanus for the sake of the klal, and bestowed abundant blessings upon the askanim.

After the divrei Torah, everyone rose to dance for an extended time. For Birkas HaMazon, the Rebbe honored the chosson, Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Meisels shlit"a. The first brachos: R' Dovid Eckstein. The final bracha: R' Avrohom Wieder of Eretz Yisroel.
After bentching, the askanim went over to wish mazel tov and receive the holy blessing of the Rebbe shlit"a. The gathering concluded at around 11:15.
