Wednesday, Parshas Nitzavim-Vayeilech — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Today the bris of the bochur Moshe Eli, son of R' Dovid Lichtenstein of Kiryas Joel, took place by the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis today in our yeshiva "Mesivta HaKedosha," Atzei Chaim branch, Shiur Gimmel. After davening, a lechayim gathering was held marking the end of the zman, at which the Rebbe, the Rosh Yeshiva, addressed the bochurim with holy words of chizuk and extended his holy brachos.

The Rebbe shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of our yeshiva "Mesivta HaKedosha," today delivered the seventh shiur of the "half-shiur" series in the hall of the Yeshiva Gedola "Mesivta HaKedosha," Beirach Moshe branch.

A great-grandchild has been born to the Rebbe shlit"a: a daughter born to his grandson, HaRav R' Chaim Hersh Ashkenazi shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Rav Tuv in Kiryas Joel, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, the Rebbe's son-in-law, and son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Boro Park shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a was menachem avel by telephone today R' Elazar Paltchek, gabbai of our Beis Medrash Zichron Meir in Bnei Brak, following the passing of his brother a"h.

The Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin today at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Hershel Weiss of Williamsburg and R' Yehoshua Leib Stein of Kiryas Joel, at Ulam Kinor Dovid.
