HaGaon HaKadosh R' Moshe Aryeh Freund zt"l, Av Beis Din of Yerushalayim (yahrzeit 20 Elul, this past Wednesday), refuses to accept a kvitel from a Yid who lives in Kiryas Joel but does not attend the tish of the Mara D'asra (the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a)!!! This was back in the 5740s, when the Rebbe served as Rav of Kiryas Joel!!
