Wednesday, 12 Tishrei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Today the brissen of the bochur Avrohom Yaakov Moskowitz took place with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
and of the bochur Shimon Segedin

Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a watched the shiur that was delivered by Mifal Chayeinu, preparatory shiurim for the Yom Tov of Sukkos. The Rebbe greatly enjoyed these efforts to raise the glory of Torah in honor of Yom Tov.
The shiur was delivered by HaRav HaGaon R' Wolf Aharon Teller shlit"a, Rosh HaKollel of Mivtzar HaKollelim

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis today in the Beis Medrash HaGadol of Kiryas Joel. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bochurim
the bochur Lipa Weiss - Boro Park
the bochur Azriel Meir Kohn - Williamsburg

A voice of joy and salvation in the tents of the righteous
A great-great-grandchild was born to the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, a son to his grandson Rabbi Menachem Shlomo Ashkenazi, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek of Kiryas Joel shlit"a, the Rebbe's son-in-law, and son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik the Berezhaner Rav shlit"a
Rejoice and be glad in the simcha of our Rebbe

On the holy day, the bris of the bochur Yeshaya Lebovitch took place with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On the holy day, the naming took place with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a in honor of the birth of a daughter to R' Meshulam Rosenger

At the tish on Motzei Yom Tov, in the presence of tens of thousands of chassidim
At lechayim the Rebbe wished: "...a good, blessed year for all of Klal Yisroel, that the tefillos be accepted with mercy and favor, all good things, children, life and ample sustenance, etc..." For bentching, the Rebbe honored his eldest son, our teacher HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of Williamsburg shlit"a

At 6:40 Ne'ilah began. There are no words to describe the elevated feelings as the Rebbe cried out "Shema Yisroel," "Baruch Shem," "Hashem Hu HaElokim," "Hashem Melech," "Next year in Yerushalayim." They concluded at 8:06

At Mincha the Rebbe made a Mi Shebeirach for the Rosh HaKahal, the distinguished philanthropist R' Meir Zelig Rispler

"May he be of humble heart, his face turned toward holiness, praying the recital of the Seder HaAvodah with fiery flame; the congregation that testifies relies upon You, and through You may our forgiveness come"
Fortunate is the eye that beheld the holy avodah at Mussaf, with awesome weeping, of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
"Aharon, the holy one of Hashem, You sanctified to serve You" — the holy avodah of the Kohen Gadol of our generation at the Seder HaAvodah, with an outpouring of the soul

"And then the righteous will see and rejoice"
The holy dancing at the piece "Uvchein Tzaddikim" and at the Kaddeishim after davening were beyond our comprehension

After the drasha, the Rebbe said Vidui together with the entire tzibbur
After Kol Nidrei, the Rebbe did not go around with the Sefer Torah; the Rebbe's grandchildren went around the beis medrash with the Sifrei Torah
After Maariv, the Rebbe wished the tzibbur from the Aron Kodesh a good Yom Tov and a good, blessed year

While appeasing the Torah, the Rebbe offered chizuk: "...This year the holy Torah will go up and be a good advocate for Jewish children, that even in the most difficult situations Jews engaged in Torah and davened in the frosts and the winds..."

And he concluded with awesome weeping that we need Heavenly mercy so that the talmud torahs should not be closed again
And he concluded with his holy blessings

At the fiery Kol Nidrei drasha, the Rebbe brought out, among other things, with awesome weeping, how the kittel arouses one to teshuvah, for a person does not live forever: "Last year there were Jews here in the beis medrash and in other batei medrash also wearing a kittel, alike in appearance and stature>>>

<<< this year they are in their own kittel"

"...We need abundant Heavenly mercy; the plague has not yet gone away..."

"And Aharon blessed the people"
How glorious was the sight when many hundreds of chassidim, elderly men, yungeleit and fine bochurim stood after the tish with exaltation to go in to the inner sanctum to receive a blessing from the tzaddik of the generation on Erev Yom HaKadosh

Which stretched on for more than an hour and a half, from the Rebbe's private room out to the beginning of Hooper Street

The holy tish on Erev Yom HaKadosh, the inspiration of the thousands of chassidim from seeing the face of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, his face like that of an angel of Hashem, and especially the weeping during the niggunim

And above all the awesome weeping when the Rebbe sang the piyut "Yirtzeh Tzom Amcha," as the Rebbe pleaded with awesome weeping
...Gracious One, be gracious to Your people who believe in Your Name...
...Draw near and hear my song, open the gate to my cry...
...And to the shelter of Your city came children who were stirred...
...Tomorrow this sign will be...

The elevated feelings of the thousands of chassidim who merited to be in the holy shadow of our father and shepherd, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, on this holy day in the midst of our holy kehilla of Williamsburg, cannot be put into words

The inspiring tish on Erev Yom Kippur
The holy, elevated tefillos
The holy words, aflame with fire, at Kol Nidrei and at the tishen
The festive Yom Tov tish on Motzei Yom Tov

Fortunate is the people for whom it is so; fortunate is the people whose G-d is Hashem
