A meeting took place in the holy home of the Rebbe shlit"a regarding the situation of the pandemic

"But I hope, b'ezras Hashem, that the tefillos of Klal Yisroel on Hoshana Rabbah, Shemini Atzeres and Simchas Torah should go through undisturbed"

"May the Ribbono Shel Olam help that He accept the tefillos of Klal Yisroel wherever they may be; that all Jewish children should be healthy, and those who are not well should have a refuah shleimah; that we should all merit a gmar chasimah tovah, a good and blessed year, a year of redemption and salvation, with the coming of Moshiach Tzidkeinu speedily in our days, Amen.

"The Yom Tov is somewhat disrupted, in that we cannot gather together in honor of the Ushpizin of Moshe Rabbeinu; it is painful. But we must thank the Creator that we can be at home, that we are healthy, and that we have the joy of Yom Tov at home.

"We had no choice; we unfortunately had to cancel this year the Simchas Beis HaSho'eivah in honor of the exalted Ushpizin today, tomorrow and the day after.

"There is a danger that the government authorities will shut down batei medrash, shut down yeshivos, and close the talmud torahs and the girls' schools."

"We are still now in a situation of 'A person should always offer prayer before trouble comes.'

"We can still daven now, and we must daven for this, that it should not come to the point where the government shuts down batei medrash, yeshivos, talmud torahs and schools.
That Jewish children should be able to daven properly, and that the outside forces should not be able to hold back the tefillos of Klal Yisroel — we must daven a great deal for this."
