Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Behaaloscha — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At about 8:55 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Yoel Friedman. They finished at about 10:25. The congregation went over to wish a good Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.

At about 11:05 the Rebbe entered the tish in the Heichal HaMesivta together with the talmidim of the yeshiva, and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem with feeling and sweetness.
- Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Naftali Elimelech Tov, son of the son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the beis medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a.
- Raising of the cup: the Rebbe's grandson, Rabbi Meir Yuda Ashkenazi shlit"a, son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the beis medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a.

The Rebbe said Torah on the verse "And a youth ran and told Moshe, and said, Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp," and explained it in the manner of derush in the topic of a convert who converted, who is like a newborn child.

Stories and accounts: This week the Rebbe related about the gadol b'Yisroel of the later generations, Rabbi Yaakov Pollak zt"l, author of the Chilukim, whose yahrzeit falls on Monday, 23 Sivan.

The new chassanim went over to take fruit, and a Shalom Zachor took place at R' Shaul Brach - twins.

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at about 9:40.

The Rebbe approached the amud for Shacharis.

- Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Yissachar Ber Hirsch.
- Pesukei Shema Yisroel: R' Chaim Reuven Schoenbrun (Williamsburg).
- Carrying the Sefer Torah to the bimah: R' Henoch Fried.
Aliyos.
- Kohen: R' Shlomo Chaim Cohen, and the Rebbe made a Mi Sheberach in honor of the birth of his daughter, mazel tov.
- Levi: the chassan Mordechai, son of Rabbi Avrohom Yehoshua Wertzberger shlit"a - was showered with candies.
- Shlishi: the chassan Yitzchak, son of Yoel Indig - was showered with candies.

The Rebbe said Torah on the verse "When you light the lamps," and explained that when Aharon HaKohen lit the Menorah, he bestowed both wisdom of Torah and wealth, but with a condition: only if one is engaged in Torah can one merit wealth, as "If there is no Torah, there is no flour," and he urged everyone to set times for Torah with complete consistency, and through this to merit abundant parnassah.

Thursday, Parshas Behaalosecha — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yaakov, son of R' Moshe Chaim Friedman.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up for Shlishi. After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 30, verse 11. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

In the morning hours, the Rebbe made his weekly visit to the Bais HaShechita HaMehudar.

At around 6:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz St.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- R' Meir Falkowitz and R' Yitzchak Bernatta, in the halls of Kinor David.
- R' Yaakov Mordechai Landau and R' Azriel Spitzer, in the halls of Beis Rachel Paradise.
- Rabbi Yoel Malik shlit"a and R' Yaakov Aharon Shlomo Weill, in the halls of Keren V'Yoel Moshe.

Entry times to the Rebbe were from 8:15 until 11:40 at night, at his holy home on Uhel St.

At around 9:00, the Rebbe went down to the halls in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim:
- R' Daniel Shimon Altman and R' Chaim Friedlander.
- R' Shmuel Yosef Eckstein and R' Avrohom Meir Miller.
- R' Yekusiel Yisroel Fried and R' Yoel son of R' Hershkowitz.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:00 and afterwards continued receiving the public.

Tuesday, Parshas Behaaloscha — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning the brissin took place.
- For the newborn son of R' Yosef Berish Hershkowitz, where the Rebbe was the sandek.
- For the newborn son of R' Yosef Dovid Yissachar Farkash, where the Rebbe was the sandek.
- For the newborn son of R' Shimon Berish Zalman Braun, where the Rebbe was the sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Etz Chaim branch - Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yoel Yosef Green.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 30, verse 9. Afterwards a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochur in the heichal of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon the Rebbe went up to the Yeshiva, Beirach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room. At around 5:45 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly yechidus hours.

Upon arriving in Williamsburg at around 8:00, the Rebbe first went up to the home of HaGaon Rabbi Chaim Aharon Ungar shlit"a, dayan of Beis Medrash Lev Aharon of our holy kehilla, for a lechayim celebrating the marriage of his daughter, mazel tov, to the chosson, a grandson of the uncle of the Bobov 45 Rebbe shlit"a.
A pleasant conversation ensued about stories of the Sanz dynasty. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the chosson, the mechutanim, and the entire family.

The yechidus hours at the Rebbe's holy residence on Hewes St. ran from 8:30 until 12:15 after midnight.

During the yechidus hours, askanim of the 'Renewal' organization entered together with several leading doctors from Columbia Hospital. R' Mendel Reiner, chairman of Renewal, presented the organization's beneficial activities. The doctors expressed their admiration for Klal Yisroel, that so many thousands of Jews are ready to give away their kidneys to people they do not know, only in order to save a single Jewish soul. Several pressing questions were discussed, on which the Rebbe gave his holy directive and bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 9:45 and then continued receiving the public.

Also entering were members of the building fund committee of the new beis medrash 'Lev Aharon' of our holy kehilla, to receive the Rebbe's blessing on the start of construction of the beis medrash after receiving all the necessary permits. The final sketches of the beis medrash and the plans for the construction work were presented to the Rebbe shlit"a.
Afterwards a lechayim took place celebrating the kishur of the kallah, daughter of HaGaon Rabbi Shaul Yechezkel Schwartz shlit"a, dayan of the beis medrash, to the chosson, the son of Rabbi Elazar Steinwurzel shlit"a.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the chosson, to HaGaon the dayan of the beis medrash shlit"a, and to the members of the building fund committee.

On the way home after the yechidus hours, the Rebbe stopped in Shikun Skver, where the Rebbe comforted the mourner, his brother-in-law the Skver Rebbe shlit"a, together with his son-in-law the Rachmistrivka Monsey Rebbe shlit"a, who were sitting shiva for his sister / his mother, the Rebbetzin of Rachmistrivka a"h.
The Rebbe arrived at around 1:15. A pleasant conversation took place about the reading of names in a kesuba and a get, and the Rebbe wished words of consolation. Afterwards, at around 1:30, the Rebbe traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

Wednesday, Behaaloscha

In the morning a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Tuvia Wertzberger, where the Rebbe was the sandek and the mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, V'Yoel Moshe branch, and after davening recited the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 30, verse 9.

After Shacharis, at around 12:15, the Rebbe went to a mezuzah affixing and lechayim in the new offices of 'Mosad Ohavim,' under the direction of R' Moshe Shmuel Frenkel.
There a signing of documents took place, in which R' Moshe Shmuel purchased the merit of a heichal of the beis medrash in the new Talmud Torah building being built on the planned Bergen Street in Kiryas Joel, for the fantastic sum of one million dollars.
The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah, and afterwards a lechayim took place. A pleasant conversation ensued about the many activities of the mosad, and HaGaon Rabbi Shalom Moshe Lipshitz shlit"a, dayan of Beis Medrash Beis Mordechai, spoke.

The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing, and delivered words of Torah on the verse 'Behaaloscha es haneiros,' praising Mosad Ohavim, which kindles the lamps and brightens Jewish homes by providing the proper assistance, and spoke at length in praise of the distinguished donor for his great donation to the holy mosdos, and concluded with abundant blessings.
Afterwards R' Shimon Moshe Kepetch, a member of the mosdos' administration, spoke. The Rebbe signed the documents together with the donor and bestowed his holy blessing.
Afterwards his son Rabbi Yoel Frenkel shlit"a (Williamsburg) spoke. At the conclusion, the Rebbe walked through the entire building and looked over the new offices. It ended at around 12:45.

In the afternoon the Rebbe went up to the Yeshiva, V'Yoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room. At around 5:45 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the afternoon hours, the Jewish liaison to President Trump and senior officials in the White House, 'Martin Marks,' entered after a longer visit in Kiryas Joel. R' Gedalya Segal presented his many activities for the benefit of Jews, for the klal and the individual. A pleasant conversation took place about the President's actions for the religious needs of all citizens, and of the Jews in particular. Among other things, they discussed the Rebbe shlit"a's efforts on behalf of Jews in distress and captivity, how with Hashem's help various beneficial actions were accomplished following the visit to the Otisville prison and the subsequent visit of the prison warden to the holy residence. They discussed how to expand the beneficial efforts throughout America, and various other matters for the benefit of Jews, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing.

At around 7:00 the Rebbe arrived in Shikun Skver for the chuppah of a granddaughter of his brother-in-law the Skver Rebbe shlit"a, the kallah, daughter of Rabbi Chaim Meir Twersky shlit"a, son of HaRav HaTzaddik Rabbi Aharon Mendel shlit"a. After the chuppah the Rebbe offered blessings to his brother-in-law the Skver Rebbe shlit"a, to the chosson, the mechutanim, and to the distinguished grandfathers, the Kalov Rebbe shlit"a and the Dees Rebbe shlit"a of Eretz Yisroel. The Rebbe also warmly greeted the Vizhnitz Monsey Rebbe shlit"a and the Vizhnitz Williamsburg Rebbe shlit"a.
At around 7:55 the Rebbe traveled home to Kiryas Joel.

Upon arriving at his holy residence at around 8:30, the Rebbe entered the hall in his holy residence, where many bochurim from all the branches of the yeshivos ketanos in Kiryas Joel were present, who had raised over a thousand dollars each in the 'Pekudas HaKodesh' campaign during the past bein hazmanim, for the benefit of the mosdos of Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe heard a report from the mosdos' administration and conveyed his holy blessing, and distributed to the gabbaim a set of Chiddushei Torah of the Maharaj Yom Tov Bomsa - Meseibos, and to all the bochurim a gift of the sefer Lev Aharon - Maseches Avos.

Afterwards the Rebbe looked over the new tenaim halls that had just been completed, dedicated especially for mechutanim who make tenaim within the 24 hours of the shidduch, and it was inaugurated for the first time.

The yechidus hours at the Rebbe's holy residence on Ohel Ct. ran from 8:40 until 12:00 after midnight.

During the yechidus hours the Rebbe went down to the halls in his holy residence, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim.
